They say, "A name is worth a thousand conversations," and mine is one of those names! I am Breitton Bird, a teenager that is obsessed with my horse, Miss Matilda Mae, and anything equestrian. Some people aren't quite sure how to pronounce my name when first meeting me, "Bright-on" is pretty much how to say it. My friends think it's funny when they hear my Mom say my name this way because they usually pronounce my name "Bright-en." Sometimes when I am at an appointment and my name needs to be called out, the assistant just says Ms. Bird because they have no idea how to pronounce my name. I have learned to just "go with the flow" when it comes to people saying my name. The good thing is, it is a hard name to forget!

It has been a bit difficult navigating through these covid years being a teenager. I keep busy by attending high school, playing tennis, riding my horse as much as possible, going out with friends, attending church, and running my small business Sister Sue's Closet. I love hot pink and purple horse accessories. I first opened an Etsy Equestrian shop when I was 12 and started making polo wraps. It quickly evolved into stirrup covers, tail and mane bags, bit warmers, and then saddle pads. It is really fun when I collaborate with customers to create their special equestrian accessories.
I am the youngest and only girl in my family. Like all brothers, they can be annoying at times, but I love them a lot and they have helped make me who I am today. My oldest brother, Chandler plays football at Brigham Young University, and my other brother, Bradley is the biggest entrepreneur in the family. My parents are my biggest supporters and push me to always learn more. My name is Breitton "Bright-on" I love my family, and my horse; I am an equestrian and the owner of Sister Sue's Closet.
